THE G. GRAPHICS BONG by G. Graphics Co.

8 comments:

  1. The real original Graphics bongs with the can base. Graphics, not Graffix. These were the Rolls Royse of bongs back in the late 80s. I bought 3 of those from the Electric Ladyland record store and headphones. Yes I did say record store because they sold records. Graphics bongs were $32.00. That was a lot of money for a bongs for someone who was a sophomore in high school back in 85. I traded my first Graphics for a drumset that year and have been playing drums now for 35 years. Best 32 dollars I ever spent.

  2. yep - they were THE bong to own. indestructible too (especially when your mom finds it and tries to smash it). 2 footer (mine) was perfect. 18" was stealth. 3 footers were out of control fun. Good times!

  3. I had a 3 footer, red, kept the black forever. . . until it was lost. So, I smoothed out the end with some fine steel wool. I had that bong for about 16 years. They were the best. I quit weed for a bit in 2002, and cut it in half and tossed it. Shouldn't have. . .

  4. If anyone still has one of the G. Graphics posters (or a graphics bong itself or slider) that you want to sell, just post something here and I'll reach out. Thanks!

  5. Greetings Everyone,

After much demand, I have finally dug out my remaining unused Professional G. Graphics Pleasure Delivery Devices for auction on eBay. While, I was hoping to give more advance notice, I will extend the Auction to last at least 1 week. I have much fewer survivors than I had hoped and they are missing their slider packs, however, fortunately, those are easier to replace and are available. I will try my best to find enough to include with each device. I have three (clear, red and purpleish blue) 18 inchers and one (different shade of purpleish blue) 24 incher. I might keep one of the 18s and possibly the 24, leaving only 2 or 3 at most to be sold. My desire to donate one to the Smithsonian still stands, so this upcoming auction might very well be the only one that I end up selling if if I end up keeping one of each and donate one to the Smithsonian). Once listed on eBay, I will post a link to the auction here. Get ready!!

  6. Adam, did you ever sell one of your units? I don't the Smithsonian will appreciate them, but we will! In other news, I saw a graphics site https://ggraphicsusa.com/ pop up, and the site owner claims to have sourced the same components from the same suppliers, but I sent a message and never heard back. The phone number on the site seems to peg back to a dude in Milwaukee, but I'm not dropping $150 on a replica without any back story / "provenance".

  7. I still have mine, which I bought in Madison in 1989. It is blue and I have not used it in years. Over the years it has gotten cloudy from use/disuse and heat from being stored in the garage. Does anyone know how to polish the tubing without scratching to make it look new again?

    1. There are good soft bottle brushes that can be used, but I'd recommend not using anything like the "420" cleaning fluid with them because it got rid of the gunk, but made the surface even cloudier. Maybe just use something like Dawn to start.
